A quick tip – if you know the specific attributes of the parcel of land (i.e. zoning, lot size and dimensions of the land), you can refer to the Council’s planning scheme and check out their particular code relating to subdivisions. This is likely to be titled either the ‘Reconfiguring a Lot Code’ or the ‘Subdivision Code’. Within this particular code, controls are specified such as the minimum lot size, minimum frontage to depth ratios and average lot size requirements.
